The awards acknowledge and highlight the hard work and dedication of individuals and schools across Australia who demonstrate a deep understanding and compassion of those in need.
The Anti-Poverty Awards recognise young Australians between the ages of 16 and 30.
The Awards recognise, encourage and support young people who are making an on-going difference in addressing disadvantage.
One Award recipient will receive a grant up to the value of $4000. Encouragement Awards up to the value of $1000 may also be offered.
The School Award recognises schools in Australia who are engaging their students in creative and innovative school-based projects that work towards the removal of inequality.
The Award recognises that the many projects undertaken by schools contribute significantly to the wider community’s understanding of disadvantage.
The School Award is proudly sponsored by Rrepp - Is your School or Organisation using Organic & Fairtrade Polos, T-shirts & Sports Balls?.
One school will receive a Rrepp sports pack to the value of $2500.
